Which intelligent transport systems does the future hold? Hypermotion presents innovations in the automotive sector. Experience new vehicle concepts up close in the exhibition.
Electromobility, driving bans on diesel-powered vehicles, alternative drive systems and hybrid solutions – mobility is undergoing radical changes. Higher, faster, further – all this is a thing of the past. Advances in mobility are no longer judged in terms of speed and range. It is now far more about how people can reach their destination comfortably, safely and in a climate-friendly manner. Or: how the destination can come to them.
Rinspeed‘s MetroSnap – a modular mobility system of the future
The MetroSnap is an automated and modular mobility system that transports people or goods as required. The vehicle is the 26th concept car by Rinspeed AG. It was designed by Frank M. Rinderknecht, the founder of the Swiss think tank for automotive concepts. What is special about the MetroSnap: chassis (skateboard) and body (pod) function separately. Different pods can be placed on the skateboard depending on requirements. One moment the vehicle is a shuttle for up to six people, the next a moving corner shop and the next a parcel station that gets the parcel to the customer. Discover MetroSnap’s versality at Hypermotion 2020.
Travel comfortably with the electric LEVC
Being more flexible and not bound to a fixed schedule – that is the advantage of on-demand mobility services. Several solutions for getting people easily and comfortably from A to B can be discovered at Hypermotion. In 2019, LEVC had already been part of the exhibition. The Kreisverkehrsgesellschaft Offenbach mbH (kvgOF) showcased one of their eHoppers, an electrically powered LEVC that can be ordered via smartphone app. An intelligent ride pooling system calculates the optimal route and links individual travel requests of different passengers on this route. With this handy on-demand service and the comfortable eHopper, people can decide for themselves when to go where.
In 2020, participants of Hypermotion can look forward to discover another innovative vehicle by LEVC (London Electric Vehicle Company). Do not miss this opportunity!
Mobility partner LEVC and electric commercial vehicles
